#005 We are moving offices! ①
15 years in Shinsaibashi, Osaka
In March 2005, our company moved from Fujiidera City in the southern part of Osaka Prefecture to Minamisenba 4-chome, Chuo-ku, Osaka City, which is close to present-day Shinsaibashi, Osaka. We moved from an unclean office attached to a warehouse in a rural town to a building along Midosuji in Shinsaibashi, the center of Osaka, where brand shops are lined up.The office furniture is also new, and the floor is an OA floor. 3 minutes walk from Shinsaibashi station. It is very convenient for shopping for samples and souvenirs, lunch, and dining with customers. In autumn, the ginkgo trees along Midosuji turn golden, and at the end of the year, the illuminations sparkle.
I decided to leave the familiar Minamisenba.
Triggered by the new corona crisis
These days, the new coronavirus whirlwind is blowing. From March 2nd to May 22nd, our company implemented shortened business hours, and from April 8th, we took a system to work in shifts.Looking at the empty office due to the limit on the number of people who can come to the office, I can't help but see a lot of crudeness and waste.
Office furniture stained with dirt. The unmanned president's office that was used by the former president who had already retired (my desk is in the same room as everyone else's, so I didn't use it). A smoking corner that has been turned into a storeroom. Unnecessary samples and product shelves piled up in a jumbled mess. A window where you can only see a group of drab buildings. The noise of the street propaganda car passing Midosuji.
In 2005, the office was shiny and modern, but after 15 years, it looks like nothing more than an ordinary office.
Then, the idea of “I wonder if I should move to a new office” began to grow, and that idea gradually grew.
where is the nice office
I want to escape from the gloomy mood that is spreading in the world due to the coronavirus. For that reason, the environment and comfort are better than now, and I'm going to do my best! Let's move to an office that makes you feel better.Once I made up my mind, the images of the new office that I had vaguely dreamed of until then began to emerge one after another. A building next to a park where you can see cherry blossoms from the window in spring. Retro building with stylish tenants. A building on the river bank. Surrounded by trendy cafes and restaurants. The office has a high ceiling and the atmosphere of a renovated warehouse. Brooklyn style in industrial design. free address etc.
Looking for a nice office that meets at least one of these conditions, a new journey has begun amidst the new coronavirus.
